on the outline to participate in a knowledge base solution. SmartOutline ports the outline nodes to a central location on a
server or data directory. The server, on demand or by schedule,
transports the data into a database. From there, custom
applications may be used to search, edit or manage the data as your
organization sees fit.

simple and easy to implement. Users of SmartOutline Enterprise
Edition specify what part of their outline they wish to
contribute. The SmartOutline Knowledge Base Server handles the

the road or at home and reconnect the data to the server later.
After the user selects a knowledge
base contribution option, SmartOutline displays a small server in
ID Bar. This indicates that SmartOutline is currently contributing
information to a central location.
